2026 DUCK DERBY IS HERE!
What is a Duck Derby?
A "Ducky Derby" is a fundraising event where participants purchase virtual ducks for a donation (you don't actually receive the duck.) Ducks are then dumped into a body of water with numbers on them, and the 1st, 2nd (you get the idea) duck/s to cross the finish line wins a prize. The origin of the first Ducky Derby is uncertain, with claims pointing to events in the late 1970s or early 1980s.
Where is the TOH Duck Derby held?
We are fortunate to have the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center host our Derby! USAFA Cadets and families were so generous in 2025 we sold over 11,000 "virtual" ducks and the Gaylord worked with us to hold 22 heats until we found our WINNERS! We are hoping to top that in 2026! View a video of the 2025 Derby HERE
How do I purchase ducks?
